Soul Painting

In today's mail I received some wonderful illustrations of my favorite gamefish, from a good friend. Mark is ornithologist, a talented painter/illustrator, and a passionate flyfisher! Visit his blogs: FLYINTROPICAL and YUHINA ILLUSTRATION for more wonderful images and interesting flyfishing-related topics!

ha... too much kind words will make me drunk! :P thanks friends...
I really enjoy painting those fish... although not as good as standing in the water with a loop... we all should fish together... someday! : )

Ha, Mark, if you feel little "drunk" just have another beer and paint another masterpiece!

Speaking about fishing, all of us have to plan something...!

Plan something? I'm there. Spending time with two other thoughtful and artistic anglers would be a treat. Where do we want to go? I want to see of Vlad's water!

Driftless area is a wild brown trout haven and has zillion of streams... All of them are perfect glass-water, mostly smaller size creeks. It would be easy to explore all three states: IA, MN, WI.

Another (maybe insane) idea, possibly for the next year, would be a quick trip for SW species to Baja, Mexico... still fairly affordable...or perhaps some other salty destination in the States.
