Split Thread CDC Midge


A hatching midge imitation...

Hook: Curved TMC 2488
Body: Split thread dubbing loop with black CDC fibers
Wing: White CDC puff

This is an awesome tie as usual! This is my first time see the CDC puff for midge pattern! the shape is just fantastic... just like the midge pull themself off... increadible and artistic pattern! Thanks for posting!

I am glad you like it. I guess if you tie the CDC wing butt-first (in the regular fashion), you'll get a nice little black caddis. Could be a useful one for tomorrow ;-)
