Wow... what a great photo! Vlad
This photo remind me Monet's painting. So fresh! Great work! : )
Love this new version, Vlad.

Gezze...that's a beautiful rod... Vald (I know I have say this many times). Everytime I saw your rod photo, I just can not stop stare at it. Hopefully I will have one soon. .. still hunting for the blank : )

Thanks brother... I just saw a wonderful BBC mini-series, THE IMPRESSIONISTS...and it was easy to get inspired after seeing it!

I fished a local stream yesterday, and it had some nice little "meadows" of water buttercups, so I was experimenting with pictures. These two photos turned out the best...

Hi Vlad,

I was wondering what Camera you use, if you don't mind I ask. It looks like it was a long exporsure in the buttercup flowers. I was mainly using the Sony u-10 for fishing trip... very tiny camera.

Mark, I use Canon Powershot A95, which is my old camera... I know, I need to get a new camera- hopefully soon... Small camera would be very handy, but I also like the idea of a digital SLR for more flexibility.

There are just so many new options for a new camera, it is mind blowing...

Beautiful photo...and makes a great header for the page as well.

Carrying the DSLR to the river is a hassle sometimes...but the photo results make it all worth while.

Thanks Cameron,

My camera is fairly small, but lacks the features of DSLR, and it is old... I need more power :-). If I decide to get a DSLR, I am little worried that it would be too cumbersome to take each time I fish, but I totally agree with what you said.
