Hey Vlad,

What a beautiful tie! as always!!
This is really a new pattern to me, I am curious about how to fish them? for saltwater species?

I love the new banner! Gorgeous! : )

Thanks, Mark! I thought you'd like these flies... It is basically Jack Gartside's soft hackle streamer with extra flash (hula wrap.) I figured they would work in both warm and saltwater. I used the regular version in the salt quite a bit, and thought that some extra flash might make this version a bit more 'hip'.

Ha.... Cool! Vlad,

I have use those similar steelhead flies to catch bass here... I am really a big fan of soft hackle now... Imagine when I get old and lazy, this would be the only fly I use in salt and river... very cool stuff!

Hello JK,

I've been using the Fly Shop brand hook, which came out earlier this year. If you go to their site, it is model TFS 5444 in black nickel. A very decent hook and it's hard to beat their price.

Thanks for stopping by,
Vlad
