Candy Baitfish

Ingredients: craft fur for the tail, polarfibre and angel hair. The body is reverse tied polarfibre, veiled with angel hair and sealed with Hard as hull cement.

Thanks Marcus! Well.. the winter is long here in Minnesota, so I can at least dream about nice ocean water while tying flies. Everything else is frozen solid!

Craft fur became my favorite material. It's insane!!!

I have tried to tye something like this but it seems I always add too much cement. :) I need to practice more.

Laza,

I guess it is all in the balance of materials and the cement application... you can always add more. Less cement will make more spongy fly and the more you add, it will turn hard like epoxy candy, but without the weight and yellowing of epoxy.
