GliderSlider

Glue a short foam cylinder on the 2/0 SS popper hook, and leave some space between the foam and the hook eye. Palmer pearl Mega Baitfish Emulator Flash first, and add some Hula Wrap turns in contrasting color. Brush some Liquid Fusion over fibers and foam, while pulling the fibers back. Let dry! Add eyes along with the second coat. Taper the tail at the end and draw some markings with the felt tip pen. GliderSlider is ready to roll!

Very cool! Vlad,

Does it make bubbles? or it slide on the surface with minimum wake?

Thanks brother!

With its pointy nose and see-thru profile, this slider glides in the stealthy mode! Imagine a windless summer night, ebbing tide, smell of a seagrass in the air and whirlwinds of photoplancton in the shallows...

Slow hand over hand retrieve and a big splash which startles you, when the leader almost kisses the tip top. The night of a tidal king, the big striper...

Each fly is a new dream...

Ha... awesome!!
I do can imagine that scenario!!

there were several occasions, I was crawling along the shore and rocks... made a 10 feet cast... perfect smooth surface, lightest dip of a fly...and ZZZZZZZZZ... a catastrophic line zipped through the fingers and a pounding heart... : )

very cool fly! Vlad
