I wonder if you recommend to add a swivel in front? I have tie some bunny pattern with the disk, but the twisting leader really gave me some problem... or you have some secret trick to prevent the twist...

I had similar experience in the past... I am hoping that short heavy leader and heavy compact head will help. I used soft silikone discs from kitchen towel hooks...sometimes reshaping the disk can help.
