Wild Melty Minnow from Japan

My first attempt at tying this cool floating minnow imitation from Japan... I suggest printing baitfish drawings and using them as a template for cutting various foam shapes.

Wow that is allot of work, but one of the most innovative flies I have seen in a while.

I appreciate you introduce my fly

I recomend you should put the air
cushion into the minow to remove the swing when we cast it.
because the air cushion make the minow round.

Thanks for the comments!

Ryancyan, it was my pleasure.

I did some things different. I used a regular thickness foam for the body (not the thick foam like your video shows) and got a body with air cushion without the need to cut out the foam.

I haven't tried to fish (nor cast) it yet, but appreciate the comments.

Best regards,

Vlad
