The ocean is still dirty and swelly from the recent storm, so tying instead of fishing. 

Old Fly New Eyes

This Striper Streaker has already caught multiple fish...but it needed its eyes replaced. Now it is ready for action again!

Slow Fishing

Slow fishing on the flats. Few fish around and I had to search for the clean, clear water. Found a single fish this morning, which refused the crab. Second half of August is usually better, but the focus also changes toward bonito and albie fishing.

Tying some minnows in natural colors...lots of silversides around. Old favorite right here, size 1/0!

Foggy Flats

Worm Gurglers

Saw some birds feeding on worms while flats fishing this morning, so revisiting classics... These have a foam tail extension to minimize fouling.
