This winter has been off the charts - great snow in Boston! I skied a lot, mostly ungroomed, wild spots, close to home. And it is not over yet, even though with the high temps predicted for the next week, the end is in sight...

I just mounted bindings on my new pair of skis, Fischer Transnordic 66. I look forward to using them this winter, along with my Asnes and Madshus skis.

Happy Holidays

Not much fishing in Boston right now, but the ski season is here. Let's hope that we get some snow instead of rain for Christmas! My backcountry Nordic skis are ready, so let's go!

New Skis

My new backcountry skis just arrived...Madshus Panorama 62 (Eon), paired with One Way Vario BC poles, Rottefella NNN BC Magnum bindings, and Fischer BCX Transnordic boots. This ski season is winding down, but I'll be ready for the next year...and the new fishing season is just around the corner!
