From the Archives: Squidalicious Nights from 2012
With recent squid crease fly posts in the middle of winter, I just had to resurrect some archival photos (taken by Dave Skok and myself). Back in the summer of 2012, we had fantastic night fishing, using squid imitations. I remember using squid crease flies exclusively. See the original post here.

August Flats Fishing
Tons of small stripers on the flats. Larger fish arrived when the water got higher. Good day with multiple fish landed, all on a green crab fly.

Blitz Action with 5wt
Insane action this evening, all small fish. I used a 5wt today. Landed around 40 and left...it was still going!

Smaller and Feisty
It's been very windy and murky with recent blows. The fish are still plentiful, even though smaller in size lately. Still good fun on a 6wt.
