Tying with European Golden Plover

A friend from the UK was kind enough to send me some legally obtained European Golden Plover (Pluvialis apricaria) feathers... I tied few flies today using these classic golden-yellow tipped soft feathers and will be sending him some soon.

Driftless: Fishing Between Thundershowers

Most of the creeks were blown, but with little patience some nice trout were caught in fishable water. Majority of fish were in 12"-20" range, all caught on streamers. I fished my little Paradox 734 bamboo-glass hybrid exclusively.
