Thanks Mark... I was fishing a lake in Wisconsin but it was pretty slow. My friend did better using spinners.

That fly (a size 2 Gurgler variation) proved to be a good choice for smallmouth, even though I wasn't able to repeat the success from this spring... I still cry for the pictures from that outing-smallies were going crazy, and I shot in a cloudy, ominous pre-storm light...and lost all shots.:-(
Yes! I feel sorry for the lost too! one of the digital era bug! Data disappeared without any warning... Keep all the photos coming! Vlad, they are fabulous!!
