Beautiful rods Vlad. I'll be interested to see your new builds. You should make some saltwater rods out of fiberglass. It doesn't seem like too many builders do that. I'm guessing that there may just not be any good 8 or 9 wt. glass blanks available. I always wondered if that pink one with the segmented grip you post pictures of sometimes is fiberglass or graphite.
Thanks Keith... I made several SW glass rods in the past and found them OK for sightcasting, where you don't have to make repeated long cast all day...so I still prefer graphite for stripers. (The pink rod is a graphite.) I am working on finalizing the prototypes for a model I'll be offering for sale, an 8' 4wt trout rod. I still think that's the sweetest spot for the glass.
