Celebrating 10th Anniversary

Dear visitor,

It's been ten years since I started this blog while living back in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. The emphasis of the blog was on my random fly fishing experiences in fresh and saltwater, fly tying, photography and rod building. Few years ago I started a separate blog dedicated solely to rod building. In all those years, this blog hasn't changed much and remained a quiet place with a quality content. Thank you for visiting and hope you found some enjoyment and inspiration in things presented here.

Congrats!
My blog is also about the same age (started in 2005).
It's getting harder to maintain it, but every once in a while it's a nice spot to write some thoughts.

Keep up with the good work (especially your rod building)

Thanks Jay and congrats to you too. Over the years all those fly fishing-related things we tried to master while we were younger become less of a mystery anymore...and Internet can't really be a substitute for the real thing.

Best regards and hope this winter isn't too long... Vlad

For me as I get older fishing desires (NW, Patagonia, bonefish, etc.) seems to be further away than ever…
Family priorities!

Phew, you scared me Vlad. I thought you were going to quit blogging...

Glad to see I'm wrong! Looking forward to hearing about your upcoming reports this season!

Be well bub. I have a couple nice, new rods to play with this spring...

Jeremy.

Hey old tiger! It's always good to see your posts here. It's been a mild winter around here so it won't take long...Glad to hear you are ready to play with some new "toys"!

Speaking about blogging...yeah, I will probably slow down a bit. I did think few times about giving it up completely, but we'll see. :-)

Talk soon,

Vlad

Thanks Ben...There was also a good bit of luck involved. The pic was taken back in 2008 on a small Wisconsin spring creek.
